Scott's Home Guard Platoon
Helen Strachan has provided some information, including photographs of her Grandfather George Logan. George worked in the office for most of his working life. a picture of the Home Guard Platoon appears on this page and additional information and photographs will be published shortly.
John Davies Engineering Manager at Scotts from 1977 - 1979 has provided a number of photographs of the Hallgarth,Carron and the Laggan, which were the last ships built at the Yard. They are available to view in the Features Section.
Allan Sharp has provided names for the Platers,Riviters and Caulkers photograph of 1931.
Harry Malloy's photographs of the late 50's and early 60's are now in the Features section.

New Yard Agreement
A copy of the agreement for the proposed new shipyard between Scott and Sons and the Clyde Navigation Trust is now available in the Features section.

A BBC Radio interview with Charles Scott, which was recorded in 1959, is now available in the 'Features Section'.

A number of yard related stories/images are being developed and will be available shortly. Information on the proposed new yard, 1917/18 is almost complete. I am waiting to get access to archive papers held by Scott's legal representatives for the period 1917/18.
